Sodium hypochlorite technical
Appearance and properties
Yellow-green, clear or slightly green-turbid liquid spontaneously self-decomposing. Its decomposition is accelerated by light as well as by the catalytic effects of heavy metals. Aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite and sodium chloride.
Application
Used as a bleaching agent in the textile industry and as an oxidant in the chemical industry.
